Knowledge base - Organizing Domains into Groups
Le guide generiche sono in trasferimento su RegistrazioneDomini.Info. Questa sezione resta attiva per la documentazione dei servizi GiDiNet.
If you manage multiple domains, you can organize them into custom groups to simplify browsing and apply specific operations more easily.
What Domain Groups Are Used For
Domain groups allow you to:
  • Organize domains according to your own criteria (for example by client, project, category, or purpose).
  • Quickly filter the domain list to display only those belonging to a specific group.
  • Use features that apply operations to an entire group of domains.
Group organization does not modify the technical settings of the domains, but makes management and visualization easier.
How to Create a Group
To create a new group, log in to your control panel and follow this path:

Service ManagementDomains/DNS/RedirectGroup Management

From the group management page you can:
  • Create a new group by assigning it a name.
  • Edit or delete existing groups.
Assigning Domains to a Group
After creating one or more groups, you can assign domains from the domain list page.
In this way, each domain can be assigned to the desired group, making the filter immediately available in the list.
"Hide from Expiring Services" Option
In addition to the group name, you can enable the "Hide from Expiring Services" option.
If this option is enabled:
  • Domains belonging to the group will not be displayed on the expiring services page.
  • The page will still indicate that hidden domains are present.
  • You will be able to access a dedicated procedure to view the hidden domains.
Important: Expiration Notifications
Hiding domains from the expiring services page does not disable expiration notifications in any way.
Expiration notices are always sent via email according to the standard procedures.
This option is useful, for example, if you have decided not to renew certain domains and do not wish to see them in the expiring services list, while still receiving the official notification emails.
