The
Configuration –
Control panel settings section allows you to customize specific account settings, adapting the interface behavior and notifications to your operational needs.
Below you will find a description of the main available options.
General Preferences
Tickets – “Do not include message text in e-mails”
By default, the system sends the full text of support ticket messages via e-mail.
By enabling this option, e-mails will contain only the ticket update notification, without including the message content. This setting may be useful for confidentiality reasons or to reduce the amount of text received by e-mail.
Website Language and Notification Language
- Website Language: defines the language of the control panel interface.
- Notification Language: sets the language used in communications sent via e-mail.
The two settings are independent and can be configured separately.
Order Form – Enable editing of predefined fields
This option allows certain optional fields in the order form, which are normally disabled or pre-filled with default values, to be edited.
It is a useful feature for users who require more detailed control over order parameters, while still maintaining the ability to use standard settings when needed.
Advanced Features
Early access to beta features
This option is designed for users who wish to contribute to service improvements by accessing new features in advance.
By enabling beta mode:
- the account will automatically gain access to new features that have passed an initial internal testing phase;
- beta features will be clearly marked within the control panel;
- beta mode can be disabled at any time from the account settings.
This mode is recommended for users who want to test new solutions and provide feedback.

dedicated guide for activation details and usage conditions.
.it Domain Transfers – Default Mode Setting
For transfers of domains with the
.it extension, you can choose a default mode between:
The selected preference will automatically be applied to new transfers, unless a different option is chosen during the transfer procedure.
See the specific .it transfer guide to understand the operational differences between the available modes.
Notification Preferences
Where supported, you can configure the sending frequency of specific notifications, for example:
- Service expiration reminder frequency
- Expired service reminder frequency
These settings allow you to adapt communications to your operational habits, avoiding notifications that are too frequent or insufficient.
Custom Default Nameservers
You can set a personalized list of default nameservers within the control panel.
This list is used to:
- automatically fill in the order form for domain registration and domain transfer, both for single and bulk operations (fields remain editable);
- provide a quick preconfigured option in the domain nameserver management page, allowing you to change them without manually re-entering each value.
This feature is particularly useful for users who regularly use a specific set of nameservers, for example for their own infrastructure or recurring third-party services.
